The draughtsman/painter/etc. behind the pictures at this site is me, Jussi Heinonen, b. 1975, from Kouvola, Finland. This collection of images is supposed to represent certain aspects of my artistic work. At least it is an attempt to make the world a bit more conscious of their existence.
My sources of inspiration, or some of them:
Sometimes I used to call my work ”psychotic realism”, but at the moment I find such a moniker somewhat too restrictive. I don't want to stick into a certain style; I like Naivism, Surrealism, Symbolism, and I'm influenced by them, but I guess the closest definition for me would be a visionaire, a man on a search of the Transcendent.
